Eman Pulis

From an early age Eman showed a wholehearted curiosity and an aptitude towards sport, music, culture and entertainment. His music instrument of choice was the piano, whilst his favourite sports were basketball and field athletics, triple jump specifically; an event which saw him represent his country on a number of international events, including FISEC Games and the Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE).

Following a 2003 student-athlete experence at George Mason University, VA, Eman returned to Malta, Europe, and got involved in a number of associations. He reawakened the once dormant Malta University Sports Association and was instrumenmtal in the setting up of the South End Core as well as the Mdina Knights FC. Shortly after he joined the University Student Council (KSU) as well as University Senate, taking active part in a number of important reforms. 

In 2004 Eman’s career as an event organiser took off with a string of fresh, innovative events. Together with his partner in crime and long time mentor Keith Marshall, he co-founded ‘Marshall-Pulis Events’. The latter was responsible for the design and implementation of creative, weekly concepts such as ‘Live at Luxol Saturdays’, ‘White Wednesdays’ and ‘TNT Fridays’. Other one-off creations include the ‘Bob Geldof YMCA Concert’, ‘Bob Sinclar Festivals’, as well as live mega concerts, attracting crowds in excess of 7,000. Until early 2011 Eman was also responsible for the rebranding of a number of clubs in Malta, including Mink (Baystreet), Tattingers (Rabat) and Chequers (Paceville).

Eman graduated with first class honours from the University of Malta in 2001 with a Bachelor of Education degree. He holds a Masters Degree in Creativity and Innovation as well as a Masters Degree in Diplomatic Studies, both from the University of Malta. Eman was also a student exchange at GMU, holds an IOA diploma in Olympic Education as well as a post graduate diploma in Public Diplomacy.
